Im getting married on November 25,2006. I need ideas on a Nice but cheap wedding and reception. My budget is around $4k. I need help.

We are looking at the idea of marriage after being together for 10 yeears, making it official. Wondering how to go about having a cheap but fun wedding and how to go about getting a celebrant and how much they cost? Any tips or ideas I would appreciate thanks.

We want to get married by the end of this year. I live in the northwest suburbs of chicago and looking for a cheap wedding planner or even a student going into this field. We don't have much money but also don't have much time to deal with all the details of planning a wedding. Does anyone know of any one? Maybe someone in college or someone that just enjoys doing if for fun?????? Please help, thanks!
